Sunderland Foyboatmen are the approved service provider for all Mooring Work to the Port of Sunderland, we have provided the vital harbour service of Boatmen and Mooring crew’s to the Port of Sunderland and their customers since 1922
Sunderland Foyboatmen specialise in providing the Port of Sunderland, Ships, ships agents and other small business which use the Port, with a fully qualified fully equipped Marine Personnel and Work Boat option.
Over the last 90 years the business has gone through many changes and challenges as have all businesses within the Dock’s/Port environment. In that time the Port Of Sunderland as a whole has changed enormously, we as a company have met those challenges successfully via forward planning and putting in place various contingency plans
Our customer base includes Ship owners, Shipping agents, Government and Council Agencies, and local ship repair/engineering companies.
Sunderland Foyboatmen offers the Ship Agents, Ship Owners and the Port Of Sunderland with a cost effective experienced and highly dedicated professional service which helps them to complying with MCA Port Regulations along with The Port Marine Safety Code, Port Of Sunderland Safety Management System for Marine Operations and The H S E National Occupational Standards for Marine Operations documents.
